i38.6 Segal EW is an insecticide for professional use, for treatments against flying and crawling insects.

Active substances: cypermethrin 14.5%, tetramethrin 4.8% and piperonyl butoxide 19.3%.

Mode of action

This multiple active formulation is versatile, including both tetramethrin pyrethroid type I, for rapid knockdown and washout effects, and cypermethrin pyrethroid type II, a powerful insect killer.

Piperonyl butoxide is a synergistic agent that enhances the efficacy of the two active substances. This effectively disrupts the main method of insect resistance to an insecticide and therefore increases the effectiveness and duration of pest control.

This formulation is ideal for pest control treatments against crawling insects because it forms a film that settles in cracks and crevices, forcing insects to move out into open spaces where they come into contact with the treatment.

How to use

i38.6 Segal EW can be used in all residential, commercial, and industrial premises, such as hotels, office buildings, factories, military units, hospitals (except occupied wards), food storage, and processing halls without coming into contact with food. Can be used on both porous and non-porous surfaces.

Treatment of crawling insects: Spray around and behind objects in the room, around corners, windows and door frames to create a barrier for insects to pass through. Insist on areas where the infestation is observed to be higher and apply over a larger area for faster results.

Flying insect treatment: Apply to areas and surfaces where flying insects are likely to sit or stay. Apply the solution over a large area and to any area that allows spraying for faster results.

• Apply by coarse spraying with a low-pressure pump or other specific pest control equipment.
• Adapt the application rate according to the treated area.
• On porous surfaces, such as concrete, masonry, or untreated wood, you can increase the application rate, while on non-porous, fine surfaces, such as metal, washable lime, plastics, etc., you can reduce the application rate, as the solution is not absorbed by these materials.
• Several passes with a very fine spray, left to dry between applications, will increase the treatment efficiency on non-porous surfaces.

One litre of ready-to-use solution treats 20 square metres (50 ml of ready-to-use solution/square metre).

Mix only the amount of solution you need for the area to be treated. Do not keep the ready-made solution overnight.
