How it works

i27 ShieldPy RTU contains pyrethrins, natural compounds extracted from chrysanthemum flowers. These are synergized with piperonyl butoxide, which enhances their effectiveness by blocking insect resistance mechanisms. This combination ensures reliable performance even in challenging environments.

Pyrethrins work rapidly, causing a knockdown effect in insects that is quickly followed by death. The mechanism relies on direct contact, with the active ingredient binding to sodium channels in the insects’ nervous system, disrupting their functionality. This rapid mode of action ensures high efficacy, while the non-persistence of the active ingredient minimizes the risk of insect resistance developing over time.

How to use

• Direct Application: Spray directly on the insect with a single trigger press (1 ml) from a distance of approximately 15 cm.
• Surface Application: Apply as a spray at a dosage of 50 ml/m² on porous and non-porous surfaces (1 ml per trigger press).
