Ghilotina i14 Cytrol is a broad-spectrum insecticide designed to combat both flying and crawling insects. Formulated as a solvent-based Emulsifiable Concentrate (EC), it is easily mixed with water for application. The product is highly effective due to its active ingredient, cypermethrin, a synthetic pyrethroid that delivers fast-acting results with a strong knockdown effect upon contact with targeted insects. Its stability under light exposure ensures prolonged residual control. The inclusion of the synergist piperonyl butoxide (PBO) enhances the knockdown effect and limits insect resistance to the treatment.

Active Ingredients:

• Cypermethrin: 100 g/L
• Piperonyl Butoxide (PBO): 40 g/L

Mode of Action: Cypermethrin is a widely used synthetic pyrethroid, known for its rapid action as a neurotoxin that paralyzes the nervous system of insects. It is commonly used in agriculture and in treatments targeting crawling and flying insects on public and private properties. While highly effective, it is also very toxic to bees, fish, and aquatic organisms.

Piperonyl butoxide (PBO) is an organic compound used in insecticide formulations as a synergist. Although it has no insecticidal activity on its own, PBO significantly enhances the efficacy of carbamates, pyrethrins, and pyrethroids by inhibiting the metabolic processes that insects use to resist insecticides. PBO is commonly found in household, domestic, and food industry insecticides, as well as in ectoparasite control products used in veterinary medicine.

Application Instructions: Ghilotina i14 Cytrol should be applied using a low-pressure sprayer under the following conditions:

1. For Crawling Insects:
   • Routine maintenance or local treatment: 25 ml in 5 liters of water.
   • Severe infestations or elimination treatment: 50 ml in 5 liters of water.
2. For Flying Insects:
   • Routine maintenance or local treatment: 25 ml in 5 liters of water.
   • Severe infestations or elimination treatment: 50 ml in 5 liters of water.

Dosage:

• The maximum dosage is 50 ml per 5 liters of water per 125 square meters of surface area.
• One liter of the ready-to-use solution will treat approximately 20 square meters.

Recommended Usage: Ghilotina i14 Cytrol is ideal for controlling flying and crawling insects in indoor spaces, including commercial and industrial areas, as well as private spaces such as homes, shops, hotels, warehouses, catering points, processing areas, waste containers, hospitals (in unoccupied areas), military zones, and green spaces. It is not recommended for use in food preparation areas.

Preparation and Use:

• Clean the sprayer thoroughly before use to remove any residues.
• Use a compression sprayer with a moderately coarse filter.
• Fill the sprayer halfway with clean water, then add the required amount of Ghilotina i14 Cytrol according to the recommended dosage.
• Add the remaining water, securely close the sprayer, shake to disperse the contents, and pressurize according to the sprayer manufacturer’s instructions.
• Shake the sprayer again if spraying is interrupted for more than 15-30 minutes.
• One liter of ready-to-use solution will treat approximately 20 square meters.

Important Precautions:

• Properly suspend the powder during preparation.
• Do not store the ready-to-use solution overnight.
• Avoid using the water-based solution near electrical devices, lighting fixtures, or switches.
• The dilution ensures effective treatment of approximately 100 square meters when following the recommended usage instructions and dosages.
